Organic fertilization program for strawberry
Complete organic fertilization program for strawberry based on BBCH phenological stages. Strawberry is a highly demanding crop in calcium and potassium with very short critical phases — fruit set and bulking require precise nutrition to maximize firmness, BRIX and post-harvest shelf life.
All listed products are certified CE 2018/848, NOP USDA and JAS — suitable for certified organic production

FAQs about Strawberry fertilization
Why is calcium so important in organic strawberry?
+
Calcium is the most critical nutrient in strawberry because it directly determines fruit firmness, post-harvest keeping and cell-wall quality. Strawberry has a very short set window and rapid bulking — if calcium supply fails at that stage, fruit ends up soft with reduced shelf life. Unlike other nutrients, calcium moves slowly in the plant and only with the transpiration stream, so frequent foliar applications of CALCIUM 40 are essential to keep adequate levels in actively growing tissue.
How many biostimulant applications does an organic strawberry cycle need?
+
A full organic strawberry programme runs 8 to 12 applications over the cycle, depending on its length (a short 4-5 month cycle or continuous production). The most critical stages — flowering, set and bulking — are treated every 10-14 days. BOOST UNIVERSAL is applied at every critical stage for its effect on nutrient uptake efficiency and stress tolerance. Under drip fertigation, rates can be split and applied more often without risk of overdosing.
How to improve BRIX and firmness in organic strawberry?
+
BRIX and firmness in organic strawberry depend mainly on two nutrients: potassium, which governs sugar accumulation and cell turgor, and calcium, which determines cell-wall rigidity. An effective programme progressively raises the share of K-FLOW 20 from the start of bulking, combined with CALCIUM 40 in continuous fertigation. Unicellular algae biostimulants such as BOOST UNIVERSAL improve the plant's metabolic efficiency, contributing to better sugar synthesis and to the anthocyanins behind the deep red colour.
