Organic fulvic and humic acids
Fulvic and humic acids are highly biologically active organic molecules naturally present in soil organic matter. When applied externally, they improve soil structure, increase cation exchange capacity (CEC), mobilize immobilized nutrients and enhance microbiological activity. They are the perfect complement for any organic fertilization program.
Fulvic vs. humic — complementary fractions
Two fractions, one goal: more fertile soil
FULVEX 50S combines both fractions — fulvic and humic — at high concentration for a complete immediate and long-term effect. TERRA HUMID is formulated with a higher proportion of humics and unicellular algae reinforcement for soil structural improvement.
Fulvic Acids
Low molecular weight. Soluble at any pH. Penetrate the plant and mobilize micronutrients. Fast and immediate effect.
Humic Acids
High molecular weight. Improve soil structure and CEC long-term. Activate microbiota. Cumulative effect.

Benefits for soil and crop
Improves soil CEC
Humic acids increase the soil's cation exchange capacity, improving retention of essential cations such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and ammonium. In sandy or degraded soils, this effect is especially significant.
Mobilizes immobilized nutrients
Fulvic acids form soluble complexes with micronutrients such as iron, zinc and manganese that would otherwise be fixed in the soil. This increases nutrient bioavailability without needing to increase fertilization doses.
Enhances microbiological activity
Fulvic and humic acids serve as a substrate and stimulant for beneficial soil microbiota. Active microbiota improves organic matter mineralization, biological nitrogen fixation and plant resistance to soil pathogens.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between fulvic and humic acids?
Fulvic acids are low molecular weight fractions, soluble at any pH, acting mainly by improving micronutrient availability and root uptake. Humic acids are of higher molecular weight and improve soil structure and CEC over the long term. FULVEX 50S combines both fractions at high concentration; TERRA HUMID has a higher proportion of humic acids, for soil improvement.
Can fulvic acids be applied through fertigation?
Yes. TERRA HUMID is a 100 % soluble liquid suitable for drip fertigation. FULVEX 50S is a high-concentration soluble solid, pre-dissolved in water before injection into the irrigation system. Both are compatible with most liquid fertilizers in the programme; check the mix pair by pair before preparing the tank.
In which crops does applying fulvic acids matter most?
Above all in degraded soils, at high pH (>7.5) or in crops sensitive to micronutrient deficiency: grapevine, olive, citrus, fruit trees and vegetables in general. They are also very effective in sandy soils with low CEC and in hydroponic or substrate systems.
